Burnley chasing the play offs – Hull City already there.

With a great run of 5 wins in 6 matches, Burnley have lifted themselves up into ninth place in the Npower Championship and sit just three points off of six place in the Division. The play offs are a realistic target now for Eddie Howes side and another three points against Hull at Turf moor on New Years Eve would be a solid gain.

These two sides only met a month ago at the KC Stadium where Hull City ran out winners in an exciting game that finished 3-2 in favour of the home side. Burnley will be looking for their revenge in this game.

Hull are in good form themselves, with the defeat at Middlesbrough the only game in five they have failed to take maximum points. Their own run of form in the last couple of months has seen them rise from mid table to the top 6.

Both teams to score at 1.75 looks to be the best bet in a game that is hard to call one way or another

Recommendation: Goals from both sides can be backed at 1.75 and is the advice for this game
