Ian Poulter worth another try in Ballantine's Championship

Ian Poulter was recommended on ValueChecker last week to win the China Open but ultimately turned in a disappointing display to finish twenty-ninth, although he did manage to finish with a round of sixty-six. The man from Hertfordshire has a fine record in Asia according to a recent wiki posting though and for that reason we intend to give him another try this week.

The Ballantine's Championship is an event that has definitely grown over the last few years and would be a good title to win with Ian Poulter quoted recently as saying that the course was a great one and he was really looking forward to the challenge.

Ian Poulter has already won three times in Asia, in Japan 2007, Singapore in 2009 and Hong Kong in 2010 so clearly likes the continent of Asia and it is that combined with his recent form, which includes a seventh place finish in the US Masters only a couple of weeks ago that makes him the man to beat this week.

Bet 365 are currently best price at 15.00 and at a quarter the odds for the first five places we suggest a decent each-way bet. Aussie Adam Scott is the favourite at 9.50 and merits the utmost respect.

Remember if you have any facts/figures or information on any of the leading Golfers that you think could help your fellow betting pals to beat the bookmakers then why not post a wiki on ValueChecker it really is quite simple.

When you look at any betting market on ValueChecker you will see a green 'w' to the left hand side of that competitors odds. Just click on the 'w' and then again click on the login/register box towards the top. After that you will be asked to provide an e-mail address and password which you type in and then you will be able to post your information. Once verified it will appear on our website.

Recommendation: Back Ian Poulter each-way in the outright market
