Juan Mata Could Make Chelsea Debut Against Norwich On Saturday

Norwich face their toughest task of the season yet on Saturday when they travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea. This game sees the third favouirtes to win the title face off against the second favourites to finish bottom and the class between the two sides is there for all to see and whilst Norwich have so far managed to remain unbeaten in the Premiership, it would be a huge shock if they can go three games without losing.

It has been a bit of a slow start for Chelsea under Andre Villas-Boas with two rather lacklustre displays and the Portuguese manager will be hoping that new signing Juan Mata brings plenty of invention to his Chelsea side, the Spaniard could make his debut for the club on Saturday after his transfer was wrapped up this week. Chelsea are still without their number one, Petr Cech has at least a couple more weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury so Hilario starts again whilst Michael Essien is a long term absentee with a knee injury also.

Norwich are without long term absentees Elliott Ward and James Vaughn who are both suffering from knee problems at the moment, other than that Paul Lambert should have a fully fit team to choose from on Saturday, there is a slight doubt over Steve Morrison but he managed to play some part n the midweek defeat against MK Dons and should be fit to feature here.

Very difficult to see past a Chelsea win here considering the gulf in class between the two sides but with Norwich set to come here trying to earn a point and Chelsea not firing on all cylinders yet it could be hard work for Chelsea and the scoreline is unlikely to be as big as many will predict. With that in mind there should be a bit of value in backing Chelsea to win this match 2-0, they are certainly unlikely to concede even with a second choice keeper and Norwich are unlikely to concede more than two as they are relatively solid at the back.

Recommendation: BACK CHELSEA TO BEAT NORWICH 2-0
