After earlier betting patterns had suggested a three-way battle between Ian Rush, Brian Flynn and Chris Coleman for the vacant Wales Manger position money has now started coming for current Millwall manager Kenny Jacket.

Paddy Power slashed their odds from 20/1 to 12/1 early this morning although if you visit the Victor Chandler website 25/1 is still currently available.

Kenny Jacket made over thirty appearances for Wales during the eighties, then after retiring from playing he had a short spell in charge at Watford before moving back to his homeland to take on the role of manager with Swansea City.

In his first full season he guided them to promotion from League Two and also won the Welsh Cup. Since then he has moved to South London and is currently in his fourth year with Millwall and has also managed to steer them from League One football to the Championship.

Lawrie Sanchez who officially applied for the job last week is a solid 10/1 chance with Victor Chandler. The former Wimbledon FA Cup winner enjoyed a successful time in charge with Northern Ireland after taking the job in 2004 and even led them to a shock World Cup qualifying win over England in 2006.

Other market moves have seen Terry Venables trimmed into 10/1, Dean Saunders into 16/1 and both Ryan Giggs and Gary Speed into 25/1.

Paddy Power still have Ian Rush as their 13/8 favourite, while Victor Chandler are favouring Brian Flynn at 6/4. Chris Coleman is 9/4 with Paddy Power in a market that is now looking more open than last week.
