Leicester v West Ham Most Likely To End In A Draw

West Ham still have hopes of automatic qualification whilst Leicester’s disappointing season is almost at an end and these two sides clash live on Sky Sports 1 tonight. West Ham will be hoping that Leicester take things easy tonight with nothing to play for but that is rarely the case and some of the ValueChecker tools might be able to tell us what is going to happen in this match.

The ValueChecker Value Bets have thrown up two bets tonight, the best of which could be a draw between these sides, a result that would end West Ham’s hopes of automatic qualification. The ValueChecker Value Bets are based on a statistical analysis of previous results and the draw looks to be value here based on recent results as it is currently available at 3.7 but ValueChecker thinks it should be much shorter at odds of 2.13 suggested as the correct odds. That difference in price means that ValueChecker has assigned this a value rating of 0.33.

The other ValueChecker Value Bets bet for this match is under 2.5 goals and with three of the last five games between these sides played at Leicester having under 2.5 goals it is easy to see why ValueChecker suggests this bet. The current odds on under 2.5 goals are 2.12 which is a big price for unders and ValueChecker thinks that this bet should be closer to the 1.88 mark. The difference in odds between the real odds and the suggested odds means this has a value rating of 0.32.

The West Ham ValueChecker wikis suggest that West Ham might not be a team to trust even when they hold a lead. West Ham were the worst side in the Premier League in 2010/11 at hanging onto a lead. When scoring first in 14 of their 38 games, they managed to hold onto all three points on only 6 occasions. Finding themselves pulled back to draw four times and turned over and beaten a further four times. If West Ham score first in this game there could be some value in laying them in running.

As for the Leicester ValueChecker wikis, they back up this in running bet showing that Leicester half a poor record in the opening half hour of games but a stronger record in the second half of games. It is easy to see West Ham scoring first here and then perhaps the ValueChecker Value Bets being proved correct with this game ending all square.

If Leicester can take the lead and hold on to it until half time they will look a great in running bet to hold on to that lead. If Leicester City were winning at half time in 2010/11(14 times), they went on to win 12 times, drawing twice, but not losing at all when winning at half time.
