Narrow Wolves Win Predicted At Bolton

It looks as though Gary Cahill is on his way out of Bolton after Owen Coyle admitted on Friday that Bolton had accepted an offer from Chelsea for the England defender. Despite being a talented player Cahill has not stopped Bolton from having the worst defensive record in the league so reinvesting that money on two or three players might be exactly what Bolton need to start getting more results. Wolves picked up an unexpected point at the Emirates on Monday and these sorts of results keep them just above the relegation zone, any drop in form in the second half of the season could put Mick McCarthy's side in big trouble though.

Gary Cahill can't move until the transfer window begins in January so Owen Coyle may wish to give his centre half a farewell in this match even if his Chelsea move is already agreed. Coyle will be looking to make changes after his side's lacklustre 2-0 defeat against Newcastle last week and amongst those likely to come back into the starting line up for the home side are winger Chris Eagles and striker Kevin Davies.

Wolves appealed Nenad Milijas' sending off against Arsenal but they were unsuccessful in that appeal so the midfielder will sit out of this match with a suspension and he will also miss the next two matches. Ronald Zubar has picked up a knee injury and Mick McCarthy will make a late decision on his full back's participation in this match.

No team has lost more games this season than Bolton, they have lost fourteen of their eighteen matches and are still yet to draw this season. Bolton's home record is by far the worst in the Premiership, they have lost eight out of nine at the Reebok Stadium and until Owen Coyle is able to invest in his side they look unbackable, especially at home. The problem is Wolves are one of the worst travellers in the league so simply backing them to win the game doesn't look a great call, instead it should pay to find a similar bet at bigger odds so we can stake a little less on it. According to the Wolves ValueChecker Wikis Wolves are one of the best teams to back to win by a one goal margin and that looks the best bet in this match.
