Swansea Home Record To Continue Versus QPR

This has been a Championship fixture for the past three years but after both teams gained promotion last season it is a Premiership fixture for this first time and it is the playoff winners who go into this match two points ahead of last season's Championship winners. Both sides will be wary of how tough the second half of the season can be for the newly promoted sides, just look at Blackpool last season, and three points for either of these teams could be a huge result and could potentially keep them in the Premiership come the end of the season.

Swansea have an injury concern in defence with left back Neil Taylor struggling because of a knee problem, he came off in the second half of the game against Everton and will undergo a late fitness test before this game to see if he can participate against QPR. Nathan Dyer missed that game because of a foot injury but the pacey winger is expected to return in time for this match.

QPR will once again be missing a crucial part of their defence with Anton Ferdinand still struggling with a hamstring injury this week. Fellow summer signing Shaun Wright-Phillips went off injured in the loss against Sunderland but that injury isn't thought to be too serious and the winger could feature in this match.

The last three games between these two teams at Swansea have all seen the home side keep clean sheets and Swansea's home record has actually improved since they were promoted to the Premiership, amazingly the only opposition player to score at the Liberty Stadium this season has been Javier Hernandez, that goal and a Danny Graham own goal are the only goals to have beaten Vorm at home which means Swansea have kept six clean sheets at the home stadium this season. Swansea come up against a very much out of form QPR team, they have picked up just one point from their last five games and Swansea is a very tough place to go, and to score so Swansea should be backed to win this game to nil.
