QPR Should Be Backed For Another Home Draw Against Sunderland

QPR have found Premiership life tough in recent weeks and are finding themselves dragged ever closer towards to the relegation zone. Luckily for Neil Warnock the beginning of the transfer window is under two weeks away and Warnock looks sure to strengthen in January with up to four signings being mentioned by the QPR boss. Another manager who is likely to be lively in January is new Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill, who will be looking to add to his striking options at the very least. He suffered his first loss as Sunderland manager at Spurs on Saturday but they performed well and Sunderland fans will be expecting a safe mid table finish this season.

Paddy Kenny is expected to be fit for this match but he is not certain to replace Radek Cerny who has done well in Kenny's absence despite being slightly at fault for Man Utd's second goal on Sunday. Anton Ferdinand looks unlikely to recover from the hamstring injury injury that kept him out at the weekend whilst there are also major doubts over Jay Bothroyd and Danny Gabbidon who have a knee injury and a gashed leg respectively.

Sunderland could be without Connor Wickham, who has struggled with various injuries for most of the season since his big money move from Ipswich, Wickham has fluid on his knee and is rated a mjor doubt. Sunderland could get a boost in defence though as Phil Bardsley could be fit despite struggling with a thigh injury whilst Wes Brown is expected to recover from illness and a sore knee in time to feature against QPR.

with both teams managing just one win from their last seven matches neither side is going into this match with outstanding claims and QPR's perceived home advantage might not be that much of an advantage as QPR have only managed one win at Loftus Road all season. Sunderland have also only managed one win on the road this season and the biggest pointer for this result could be the four home draws for QPR, making a point a piece the most common outcome at Loftus Road this season and this looks another game destined for a draw.

Recommendation: BACK QPR TO DRAW WITH SUNDERLAND
